Excerpts from Brother Adam’s Journal, early December 1426,
In a way it was sad about Lady Clara’s Inquisition, she was so young, so beautiful, and yet she’d refused to confess to
giving her mortal soul to Lucifer. She claimed to be a “tourist”, a visitor from the early twenty third century. Even after
three days upon the rack her ladyship still refused to confess her willing decent into witchcraft. No confessions of fornication
with the Devil or his demons, no murder of infants in the name of Satan, no sacrifice of nubile virgins to the dark lord. Even at
the end, as she burned, she still claimed to be a “tourist”.
Temporal tourism gone bad, very bad...
