The show’s producers asked Olivia, a well-known and highly successful cam-girl, to star in the opening episode of a new dark web show known only as Oblivian.net. Sadly, it would turn out to be Olivia’s final performance…

They brought me out onto the sound stage with my wrists and elbows already bound behind my back. The only thing on the dimly lit stage was the ominous shape of a terrifying Iron Maiden. Forcing me up on the Maiden’s raised stone pedestal, they quickly proceeded to strap me tightly within its claustrophobic, form-fitting interior as I helplessly stared in growing horror at the rows of sharp-looking spikes that lined in inside of the Maiden’s door.

Once they finished strapping me within the Iron Maiden, the show’s director came over to explain my part in tonight’s production, “Olivia, thank you for consenting to star in our show’s premier episode, entitled ‘Death in the Maiden.’ The stated goal of our show is to raise one million dollars per episode. In tonight’s episode, from your perspective the rules are simple, for every one hundred thousand dollars raised the Maiden’s door will swing another ten degrees closer to closing. The time limit for donations is sixty minutes, if we fail to reach our goal of one million dollars before the time limit expires, you get to live. However, if we reach our goal before the hour expires, the Maiden’s door will lock closed, driving all of those hideously sharp spikes painfully deep into your body.”

“As a further incentive for the audience to donate, should you end up going to you death within the spike-lined confines of the Iron Maiden, everyone who donated toward your agonizing death will be allowed to continue watching after the one-hour episode concludes. For them, the show will continue until you die, and we open the Maiden to show them your lifeless, brutally mutilated corpse. Of course, they will need to be patient. It's going to take at least two days before you finally expire.”

Unfortunately for Olivia, tonight’s audience proved to be extremely generous, the Iron Maiden’s deadly spike-lined door finished closing before the show’s premiere episode was even half over...
